We put as much pride in our packaging as we do the equipment we make. Your order has been packed with care. You have made a considerable investment in your IVANKO equipment. Please invest the time to read the RECEIVING INSTRUCTIONS below to insure that you protect your rights against damaged shipments, particularly freight. Forewarned is forearmed.
We ship parcels via USPS and UPS. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number via e-mail.
We ship heavier equipment on pallets or within crates via our trusted LTL (Less-than-Truckload) Freight Carriers. You will receive a tracking number (A.K.A. "Pro Number") after your order is shipped.
If you have placed an order through one of our authorized resellers, please contact that reseller to receive updates on your order, including tracking information.
Your order has been packed securely and with care. Pallets and crates will be securely strapped with distinctive strapping and wrapped with "IVANKO BLUE" shrink wrap. Each piece, pallet or crate in your order has been weighed (and labeled) with its gross weight by scales regularly certified and calibrated in accordance with the State of California Division of Measurement Standards (DMS).
HOW TO RECEIVE A FREIGHT SHIPMENT.
WHEN YOU RECEIVE YOUR FREIGHT SHIPMENT, THE FOLLOWING IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY!
PROTECT AGAINST VISIBLE DAMAGE OR SHORTAGE OF GOODS.
DO NOT SIGN BILL OF LADING UNTIL YOU:
1. VERIFY PIECE COUNT AS INDICATED ON THE BILL OF LADING.
2. CHECK FOR VISIBLE DAMAGE TO EACH PIECE.
— IS PALLET OR CRATE INTACT?
— IS BLUE SHRINK WRAP INTACT?
— IS STRAPPING PRESENT?
— ARE ALL PIECES PRESENT (I.E. IF 2 PALLETS ARE ON B/L, DID YOU RECEIVE 2 PALLETS).
IF THE BILL OF LADING INDICATES (3) PIECES, BUT YOU ONLY RECEIVED (2) PIECES, AND YET YOU SIGN FOR (3) PIECES, FREIGHT CO'S WILL NOT ACCEPT A SHORTAGE CLAIM! THE BILL-OF-LADING IS A LEGALLY BINDING DOCUMENT!
3. IF DAMAGE IS PRESENT: YOU CAN EITHER REFUSE SHIPMENT OR YOU CAN ACCEPT SHIPMENT, BUT YOU MUST NOTE MISSING PIECES, VISIBLE DAMAGE OR POTENTIAL CONCEALED DAMAGE (BECAUSE OF TEARS FOUND TO SHRINK WRAPPING, BROKEN STRAPS, OR DAMAGE TO PALLETS AND CRATES) ON THE BILL-OF-LADING.
4. PLEASE TAKE PHOTOS OF CONDITION OF FREIGHT RECEIVED. THIS WILL HELP US BOTH RESOLVE THE PROBLEM! WE WILL FILE A CLAIM WITH THE FREIGHT CARRIER ON YOUR BEHALF.
5. IF THERE IS DAMAGE OR MISSING PIECES IMMEDIATELY E-MAIL US WITH PHOTOS, AND A PHOTO OF THE SIGNED BILL-OF-LADING. PLEASE KEEP ALL ORIGINAL PALLETS, CRATING, AND PACKAGING UNTIL SITUATION IS RESOLVED.
IF YOU DON’T FOLLOW THIS PROCEDURE, YOU LIMIT YOUR ABILITY TO SEEK REDRESS.
REPORT OF CONCEALED DAMAGE
If everything appears OK, you have received your shipment, and signed the Bill-of-Lading, it's still worth taking a photo of each crate or pallet. Then please inspect the contents of those pieces for concealed damage. You must report all concealed damage within 3 days of receipt of goods. No exceptions.
NOTE: IF YOU HAVE PURCHASED YOUR IVANKO EQUIPMENT THROUGH AN AUTHORIZED RESELLER, FOR THE FASTEST AND MOST EFFICIENT SERVICE, PLEASE CONTACT THEM FOR RECEIVING PROCEDURES.

We can arrange shipments from Los Angeles to Mexico. Please e-mail.
We ship to Canada via US Post, UPS Parcel or LTL or Full Truckloads. We have had good success with customer-directed import brokers (if you don't have one, we can suggest a reliable one) for small items and for full sized gyms. Please e-mail us with what you want and your complete "bill to" and "ship to" addresses, and we will return to you a quotation.
Please note: unless otherwise arranged, LTL shipments to a residence or business are "curbside" delivery only. No inside delivery or installation. If you need a lift gate (i.e. you do not have a loading dock or forklift on site), please specify. Delivery appointments and 24 hour notifications can be arranged.
OUTSIDE NORTH AMERICA
If you are outside of North America, we have decades long, trusted authorized stocking distributors and dealers in countries around the world. Please email us and, we will direct you to an authorized dealer.
If we do not have an authorized reseller in your area, we can sell to you directly from our Los Angeles warehouse for smaller orders, or in some cases, arrange larger (LCL and FCL) shipments FOB / CIF various ports around the world. Please e-mail us with your needs, incl. complete "bill to" and "ship to" addresses, and we will provide a quotation.
We can work with your freight forwarder, or we can supply the contact information for a trusted freight forwarder to clear your import at your nearest port. We ship Ex-Works, FOB, C&F, CIF, or DAP. We discourage DDP (Direct Duty Paid) shipments (though we can do them) because it will be more cost effective if you arrange Customs' duties, Import Fees, VAT and Tax payments on your end. We have a list of reliable brokers local to you, should you need one. Please inquire.
